is a colour and styling consultancy business founded by Terri Betts who moved to Northland from Auckland seven years ago so I guess you can now call me a local. I decided that it was now or never to achieve my dream of my own business after years of wanting to do so but always had mortgages and children to put first! So I underwent the necessary training and mentoring to become an accredited Color Me Beautiful Consultant (the only one for the Northland region)!

So here I am having achieved my dream and helping individuals to see the best in themselves and how to complement that with their best colours.

My business has also grown into hosting four seasonal pre-loved clothing sales a year right here in Kerikeri for those lovely ladies who, whilst they love pre-loved clothing, just don’t have the inclination or time to hunt for those beautiful pieces in our wonderful pre-loved shops all over the country. I do the hard work for you! - sourcing pre-loved (although a lot of them are new) clothes from around New Zealand and Australia for my sales. I can guarantee you will find something you will love and it will be at a great price too.

So it is never too late to make your dream a reality - I did and have never been happier.

Lady M Style is for anyone who wants some assistance with style and colour. Understanding this helps you to approach every day with confidence knowing you are wearing colours that tone to your own personal characteristics beautifully. We are all unique individuals and that uniqueness is demonstrated by the colour of our eyes, skin tone and hair colour. You then add in your own personality and style to this which creates the totally unique YOU.

Lady M Style was born out of my love of clothes, colour and style. The name ‘Lady M’ comes from a wonderful conversation I had with my daughter when she was little where she said “when I grow up Mummy, I want us to have a dress shop together and we will call it Lady M”. My beautiful daughter now lives in Australia so I doubt that dress shop will ever eventuate and so I decided to embrace the name in this venture with her permission of course!

Lady M Style was launched with the dream of helping people feel good about themselves and to look in the mirror positively. We all know when we wear something in the right colour tone how good it makes us feel - how amazing would it be if your wardrobe was filled with the correct colours and so you won’t impulse buy incorrect colours.

2020 was a very difficult year for many people and with the ongoing uncertainties in today’s world, if I can bring some positive energy to help people feel uplifted and re-energised then I will be delighted.

Consultations take place at my home studio which is very quiet, private and is totally separate from the main house. It has a beautiful ambience looking out onto the garden and my clients who have already visited have said it is a very relaxed and beautiful space. If you would prefer however, I am also very happy to visit you at your own home.

I can assure my clients of the utmost confidentiality when meeting with me and sharing their stories and personal details.
